About

The American Energy Dominance Caucus is a bipartisan congressional caucus created by Co-Chairs Representative Chuck Fleischmann (TN-03) and Representative Marc Veasey (TX-33) regarding the establishment of the White House Energy Dominance Council. The Caucus was established with a mission to raise awareness of all forms of American-made energy and bring together Members of Congress, the private sector, the public sector, and energy producers to promote the growth of domestic energy production and increase American energy independence and security.

The Caucus was born out of a recognition that America is facing a rapidly growing energy challenge. With the rise of artificial intelligence, cryptocurrency, and emerging industries, electricity demand is rapidly increasing. At the same time, the United States is too reliant on foreign countries as means of energy production, leaving the nation vulnerable to global instability and the use of energy as a geopolitical weapon by authoritarian regimes. The American Energy Dominance Caucus believes that addressing these challenges is not a partisan issue — it is a national imperative.

To meet the country's growing energy demands, the Caucus champions an "all-of-the-above" energy policy that supports every form of American-made energy, with a particular emphasis on new and advanced nuclear energy. By harnessing the full breadth of domestic energy resources, the Caucus aims to create jobs, lower energy costs for American families, grow the broader economy, and cement the United States' position as the world's foremost energy leader.
